During the first part of the class we focus on connecting the breath to the body, the second half of the class is meditation- we focus on bringing our awareness to our mind and directing our attention inward. Morning Meditation and Sun salutations is a class to uplift the body and focus the mind. It can bring about more energy and clarity to your day as you let go of stressors and just be here now.
Slow Flow Yoga with Risa Mondays, 8:30-9:30am $12 drop in Join Risa in a nourishing slow flow class combined with gentle viniyoga asanas. Viniyoga places an emphasis on function over form, breath, repetition, and sequencing adapted to the needs of the individual students. This nurturing all levels class will guide you deeper into breath and body, with slow and intentional movements.
Align and Balance with Cecelia Tuesdays, 6-7pm $12 drop in Step onto your mat to recover and renew your mind, body, soul connection in this all levels hatha yoga class. This alignment focused class incorporates mindful breathing and movement, creating a space for you to reconnect with the now. Meet your body where it is and honor its capabilities all while rejuvenating your energy.
Hump Day Hathawith Lindsay Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30pm $12 drop in Hump day hatha is a slow, but invigorating class to help bring energy back into your week. The focus is connecting breath to movement. The whole body is targeted through range of motion and light strength training. This class has the ability to calm you down in the evening and rejuvenate the rest of your week. It allows students to empty their minds and calm their bodies while strengthening intricate muscles. This style allows practitioners to relax into their evening and finish their week mindfully and with the energy we all crave.

Jessica has studied research and books to assist her students in treating emotional dysregulation, and has created a soft, safe environment at Be Here Now to empower individuals in developing self-care and emotional self-regulation techniques through yoga.

Yoga Nidra with Cecelia Thursdays 5:30-6:30pm $12 drop in Yoga Nidra is a form of deep relaxation that is accessible to everyone. Although not a direct translation, it is often referred to as yogic sleep or sleepless sleep. In this practice you will be guided into conscious awareness of each part of the body. Through quieting the mind, Yoga Nidra induces a deep relaxing state of inner awareness. Yoga Nidra reduces stress and tension, lowers blood pressure, improves sleep, and balances the nervous system.
Yin Yoga, Release with Care with Lindsay Fridays, 4-5pm $12 drop in Yin is a relaxed practice that offers deep passive stretching. This style holds poses/asanas for approximately 3-5 minutes to release the fascia and stagnation in the connective tissues that create adhesions from daily posture or injury. Yin is a great class to help loosen tight muscles and meditate while holding poses. It helps improves the flow of qi, the energy within us, through the meridian pathways of our bodies. Benefits range from improving organ health, immunity, emotional well-being, clarity of mind, and overall improved range of motion/flexibility within the body. All Levels Yoga for County Employees with Savanah Every Other Tuesday, 12-1pm $10 drop in, County Employees Only. Savanah is on maternity leave, classes will resume when she returns! A grounding, yet energizing class intended for all experience levels. The teacher will provide options and modifications, giving practitioners the choice to deepen their practice or take additional resting postures throughout class.
