Yin Yoga Fusion with Vali Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm $12 drop in Yin is a slower paced yoga practice targeting joints, ligaments and fascia. Using bolsters, blankets, and blocks, Yin allows us to rest into poses held for 3-5 minutes promoting deep release and relaxation in the body, leading to improved range of motion and flexibility. Thai massage may be given to deepen the stretch and Hatha flow incorporated. Please inform your teacher of any injuries before class.
Slow Flow with Cory Mondays 12-1pm $12 drop in This is a great class for beginners. A mindful and gentle practice, we slowly move into asanas using the breath to help guide you. Starting the class with seated meditation and ending class with a yin pose, we will use blocks or bolsters to help you relax deeper. Be present. Come one, come all.
Little Bees Yoga with Dana One Friday a month, 5-6pm $12 drop in Join us for an hour of yoga through story! Using yoga and stories as a tool, we will explore different topics such as being brave, working hard, and dealing with frustration. Each themed class includes asana, games, and quiet time to help kids learn to regulate their feelings and find self expression through movement. Appropriate for ages 3-7. Kids must be comfortable being dropped off for an hour. We encourage parents to stay close by, hit happy hour at one of the nearby establishments, or relax in oak street plaza during the warmer months.
