Myofascial Cupping Therapy adds an extra level of relief to your massage using decompression with cups. The cups provide a vacuum effect to lift tissue rather than compress it, allowing blood and lymph to come to the surface from deep in the muscle. This helps to reduce pain and inflammation, decrease muscle tightness, and improve circulation. Our therapist uses a mix of silicone, plastic, and glass cups, creating the vacuum with a hand pump. No fire is used in this service. Cupping may leave pink, purple, or reddish marks that dissipate anywhere from a few hours to ten days after your session. Gentle massage is incorporated into your session to help release and flush the tissues.
